E-retail Subsidy of existing SMEs in the retail sector, for the development / upgrade and management of an online store.
On 12/02/2021, the new financing program through the ESPA (NSRF) “e-retail” was officially announced, with the aim of subsidizing small and very small companies to create or upgrade an e-shop in order to support their operation. during the coronavirus pandemic.
The amount of the grant amounts to the amount of 5,000 euros and concerns the creation of an online store, web hosting services, IT equipment (computers, barcode scanners, printers, etc.) in order to develop and manage the online store.
Applications start on February 22, 2021, at 13:00, ending on March 24, 2021 at 15:00. Those companies wishing to join the program, will submit their investment plans electronically on the platform of the State Aid Information System (PSKE) and if they make the decision to join, they will have 6 months at their disposal for the implementation of the online store and the submission of the final supporting documents.
Unlike pre-publication, the online store is not required to be operational to submit the investment plan.
Businesses are divided into:
a) Existing companies (date of incorporation until 30/09/2019)
b) Start-ups (date of incorporation from 01/10/2019 until the date of announcement of the Action)
Basic conditions for participation
a) To be active in RETAIL (KAD 47.xx.x) either as a main activity or as an activity with the highest income.
b) To maintain a visitable physical retail store.
c) To have suspended operation for at least one day from Wednesday 18 March 2020 onwards.
d) Existing companies to have a reduction of at least 20% in their turnover during the 4th quarter of 2020 compared to the corresponding quarter of 2019. For start-ups the reduction will be considered 100% of their turnover.
Evaluation process
The evaluation process will be comparative based on the objective criterion of reducing the turnover of the 4th quarter of 2020 compared to the 4th quarter of 2019 and the approval of the grant of funding applications will be done per Region Category.
Liabilities
Those companies that join the program, are required to maintain the online store (e-shop) for 3 years from the date of the decision to join the action, as well as maintaining the physical store for the same period.
