Software license

The company Web Expert E.E, with TIN 801484340 and General Registry no. (GE.MI) 157768436000, is the one and only responsible company for the development, management and distribution of the software distributed on the website webexpert.gr and webexpert.company.

By purchasing one or more plugins, hereinafter referred to as the Software, Web Expert, hereinafter referred to as the Company, provides you with a personal, non-exclusive, license to install and use the software subject to the terms described below. This license describes the rights and conditions under which you may use the plugin.

By agreeing to this agreement or using the software, you agree to all of these terms and conditions and agree to the transfer of specific information during your activation and use of the software in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Statement described in Paragraph “Consent to the Use of Data”. If you do not accept and agree to these terms, you may not use the software or its features. You can contact the Company or your installer or supplier to find out their return policy and return the software to receive a refund or credit under this policy.

Restrictions on the use of the software

This agreement does not grant you ownership rights to the source code of the software and the software itself. All rights, logos and know-how and software developed by the manufacturer during the development of programs or the provision of technical support, improvements, additions and modifications remain the property of the Company. 

THE DISPOSAL, RENTAL, CONCESSION OR LOANS OF THE SOFTWARE TO THIRD PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED. THE COMPANY RESERVES ALL RIGHTS WHICH ARE NOT EXPRESSLY GRANTED IN THIS CONTRACT

License

The software is sold under licenses. One license for each software for each user. In order to protect the rights of the buyer, your Company has provided upon agreement the necessary activation codes that give the right to use the software and are of a purely confidential nature. The buyer bears full responsibility for possible loss, theft or in any way the distribution of licenses to third parties if he fails to inform the Company.

All software distributed by Web Expert and its related to WordPress CMS platform is released under GPLv2 (or later).

Reusable scenarios

This license allows you to install only one instance of the software for use in an online store, which operates under a unique domain name, for an unlimited period of time. If you wish to use the software in more than one online store, you will need to obtain a corresponding number of licenses. Portability, resale and license sharing from online stores to others is not permitted.

This license allows you to install only one presence of the software in a staging environment, with a domain name identical or different from the main online store.

Backup

You may order or back up the Software for this purpose only.

Authorized Software and Activation

You are authorized to use this software only if you have the appropriate license and the software is properly activated with a genuine product key or other authorization method. You must activate the product before using it. Do not use the software if you do not have a proper license. You must not avoid or skip activation. Some updates, support, and other services may only be offered to users who have an active license.

Consent to the Use of Data

We take your privacy seriously. Some of the features of the software send or receive information every time they are used, which are limited to the license number and domain name of the online store. The Company does not collect any information related to the operation of the software, the data processed or sent to the final recipients.

When providing technical support, the Company reserves the right to request full access to the website and / or the hosting server. No information related to ordering, customer list or other economic activity is collected or processed.

Updates

The Company is committed to ensuring the continuous and trouble-free operation of the software and to provide you with technical information, improvements, additions and corrections. The software performs regular checks for software updates, which are installed automatically upon your own action. You do not have to install the updates, however it is recommended for the smooth running of the software.

The software updates should be installed first in a testing environment (staging), and if there is a continuous and trouble-free operation of the software, the updates will be installed in a production environment (live).

Right of withdrawal – Return policy

A refund is granted when:

  • The software does not work as defined on our website.
  • Software malfunctions, contains errors, or is incomplete.
  • The software is not working as expected and this has been verified by the technical support team.

The right of withdrawal is revoked when:

  • The product works as defined in its description and contains no errors.
  • If the reason for the withdrawal is that the product does not work as you wish. All information and functions of the software are defined in detail on our website and any questions can be clarified by the technical support team before purchasing it.
  • If you change your mind after purchasing the product and request a refund.
  • If more than 14 days have passed from the date of purchase.
  • If you are unable to access technical support to review your issue and make suggestions / fixes to your environment or our software to make the product work as defined.

Technical assistance
The Company is invited to provide answers to your questions regarding the operation of the software, by phone at 24610 41995 and / or by e-mail, on working days and hours from 09:00 to 17:00.

The Company has a Knowledge Base, where it provides detailed instructions for using its software, in rich text or video files. The Company reserves the right to provide only written instructions for certain software that it deems necessary.

Technical support is provided exclusively via email on business days and hours from 09:00 to 17:00. For the effectiveness of the service, the Company reserves the right to request from the user the full description of the problem, with usage examples, login details in the management area, login details to the FTP server and other information.

The Company is not obliged to provide technical support a) through remote access software, b) via instant messaging services, c) if email communication is incomplete, d) on non-working days and public or local holidays, e) on software or services from third parties, f) in cases of disability, workload or force majeure.

The Company reserves the right to request additional financial compensation, in case the provision of technical support concerns (a) situations or events, beyond those already agreed, (b) misuse and non-compliance with the operating rules, (c) fault or damage by third parties.

Software life cycle
The Company is committed to providing updates and technical support for the software, as long as you have an active license. The Company reserves the right to stop the continuation or update of the software, if it informs the users, at least 6 months in advance.

Liability Disclaimer
The software provided by the Company is tested and fully functional, compatible with the latest updates of the open source software WordPress and WooCommerce, as well as its programming language. The Company does not bear any responsibility if the software is hampered or malfunctioned due to involvement with software from third parties, nor does it have to provide technical support and repair.
